Many notable French men and women are associated with the city of Honfleur, by birth, adoption or inspiration. To commemorate them, the city of Honfleur, led by Major Michel Lamarre, founded the Jardin des Personnalit\u00e9s in 2004.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

This 10-hectare garden offers a walk to discover the garden boats, in the center of which stand the busts of actors of Honfleur’s historical and cultural heritage. Created for strolling and dreaming, it was especially conceived to transmit the history of the city to the people of Honfleur, whether born, bred or adopted, and to present the personalities who have left their names in our memories. Indeed, in Honfleur, painters have found lights and colors that exist nowhere else. Poets, writers and musicians have been inspired. Sailors and historical figures have built this city or participated in its history. Discover their busts amid the vegetation-covered boats that express, along the water, the passing of time, the writing of the pages of this history and its continuity.<\/p>

Ce jardin de 10 hectares propose une promenade \u00e0 la decouverte de bateaux-jardins au centre desquels se dressent les bustes des acteurs du patrimoine historique et culturel de Honfleur. R\u00e9alis\u00e9 pour a promenade et le r\u00eave, il a surtout \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7u pour transmettre aux entants honfleurais de naissance, de coeur, ou d’adoption, l’histoire de la ville et pr\u00e9senter les personnalit\u00e9s qui en ont \u00e9t\u00e9 inspir\u00e9es ont laiss\u00e9 leur nom dans nos m\u00e9moires. En effet, \u00e0 Honfleur, des peintres ont trouve des lumi\u00e8res et des couleurs qui n’existent nulle part ailleurs. Des poetes, des \u00e9crivains et des musiciens y ont \u00e9t\u00e9 inspir\u00e9s. Des navigateurs et des personages historiques on construit cette ville ou on particip\u00e9 \u00e0 son histoire. D\u00e9couvrez leurs bustes au coeur des barques v\u00e9g\u00e9talis\u00e9s qui expriment, au fil de l’eau, le temps qui passe, l’\u00e9criture des pages de cette histoire et sa continuit\u00e9.<\/p>
