Sailing with Crohn's
On June 16, 2024, Burlingtonians were able to watch a documentary about international racer Pierre-Louis Attwell. The film, which was screened at the Burlington Sailing Center, tells the riveting story of his courageous triumph over a debilitating disease.
The screening was followed by an in-person Q&A with Mr. Attwell.
This event was sponsored by a partnership between the Rotary Clubs of Burlington, Vermont, and Honfleur, France, to raise awareness of Crohn’s disease. It was supported by the Burlington-Honfleur Sister Cities Committee.

The film was indeed inspiring and we will all continue the efforts to discuss and inform people about Crohn disease. Pierre-Louis’s story is one of hope.
